Intern Program

Internships at the High Desert Museum

High Desert Museum Internships are a great way to gain practical work experience in an area of interest to you, and provides a solid foundation to build your skill sets, and will give you practical experience in an area that you are pursuing for a profession. As a High Desert Museum intern, you will be in a unique position to make a significant contribution to an organization that has as its mission "Through exhibits, wildlife, and living history, The High Desert Museum creates learning experiences to help audiences discover their connection to the past, their role in the present, and their responsibility to the future."
 
The High Desert Museum Intern will be supported in any projects required for credit at his/her university, and gain references to further their career in their chosen field.

School programs- Teen programs  Americorps Education Award  of $1,250  (450 hours)
