About our wildlife
Look into the eyes of a McKenzie, the big great horned owl.
Track Ochoco the bobcat and Snowshoe the lynx as they roam
forested atriums. Get face-to-face with Thomas the river otter
and get an underwater view of him as he flips and swims. At the
Donald M. Kerr Birds of Prey Center, visit magnificent live
bald eagles, falcons, owls and Northern spotted owls, a
threatened species.
Discover the unique sounds that raptors make through an
interactive display. Visit the Desertarium, filled with High
Desert reptiles, from Gila monsters to a rattlesnake.
All of the wild animals at the Museum are rescued. They cannot
survive in the wild because of injuries or other disabilities.
