6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Join us for an evening of exploration with Dr. Nick Famoso, chief of paleontology and museum curator at John Day Fossil Beds National Monument, as he discusses several examples of convergent evolution in his presentation Bats, Birds and Butterflies: Convergent Evolution Through Time. The talk highlights how unrelated organisms have evolved similar characteristics over millions of years.
There will be two talks during the evening, one at 7:00 pm and the other at 7:40 pm. Since seating is limited in the Bird of Prey Pavilion, pick up your ticket for one of Dr. Famoso’s presentations at Admissions when you check in.
