Hope is a very powerful feeling.

It is also the name of the Museum’s newest peregrine falcon. Hope is from Tacoma where she hit a skyscraper window and damaged her wing. Window strikes are a HUGE conservation issue for all kinds of birds, and a major issue for urban falcons. Brought to a rehabilitator in Washington, Hope was nursed back to health but not able to be released back into the wild. Hope will be involved in programs to educate the public about threats to wildlife.

Your contribution on #GivingTuesday, November 28, will help support educational programs and help us care for Hope and other wildlife at the Museum whose stories are all about hope. Thank you for caring.

Donations of any amount are deeply appreciated. If you are interested in making a sustaining gift on a recurring monthly or quarterly basis, please call Rachael Greenwalt at 541-382-4754 ext. 244.
