Picnic in the Past
In the early 1900’s, community dinners were as common
as calluses on your hands. Back then, friends, family and
neighbors would get together almost weekly for dinner and dancin’.
Join us for one of those good, old-fashioned picnics on
July 22nd at the Museum. Bring your own blanket and a
picnic dinner, and we’ll have samples of watermelon,
lemonade and whiskey.
Relax to the historic sounds of the Thorn Hollow String Band.
Play games that were popular in 1904 and turn the kids loose
for some fun, hands-on activities from bygone days. We
might even do a little dancing.
Tuesday, July 22nd 6:00 pm–8:00 pm
Members: $3 per person, $10 per family.
Non-members: $5 per person, $20 per family.
No glass containers, please.
